Honor 8A Pro launched with Helio P35 SoC, Waterdrop notch

Honor has launched a successor to the Honor Play 8A in Russia. Called the Honor 8A Pro, the device features a 6.1-inch IPS HD+ display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and a waterdrop notch. The display on the new phone is slightly larger that the 6-inch screen of the Honor Play 8A. Most of the other specs of the Honor 8A Pro remain the same as the Play 8A.

It features the MediaTek Helio P35 chipset coupled with 3GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage, expandable to 512GB via a microSD card. There is a separate slot for a second SIM card on the device. At the back, the Honor 8A Pro gets a fingerprint sensor and a 13MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture and an LED flash. There is an 8MP sensor on the front of the device.

A 3,020 mAh battery powers the Honor 8A Pro and it charges using a microUSB port. Other connectivity options include - 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2.

The Honor 8A Pro launched in two colours - Black and Blue. It's currently available in Russia priced at RUB13,990 (Rs 15,070).
